ECL Awarded Blackberry Alliance Partner (Solutions Provider) Status
In January 2008 ECL was awarded the prestigious Blackberry Alliance Partner (Solutions Provider) status by Research In Motion (RIM), the company who developed and own Blackberry. At the time of writing there are very few companies in the UK who have demonstrated the required level of commitment to achieve this status, and as far as we are aware there are currently no others in Essex.
This means our clients have the peace of mind that comes with knowing their ECL installed BES (Blackberry Enterprise Server) or Blackberry Professional system is officially backed by RIM. We have access to RIM’s technical expertise and knowledge base and can call upon them for additional technical support if required, unlike virtually all of our local competitors.
We work closely with a number of local mobile phone providers who can supply network connectivity via providers such as Vodafone, Orange, O2, etc. They can also supply the complete range of Blackberry handsets. Alternatively we are happy to work with your preferred mobile supplier if you have one.
Our main purpose is to supply, install and support the BES infrastructure as part of your internal office network, fully integrated with your Exchange/GroupWise/Notes email system to give live real-time synchronisation between your office system and your Blackberry wherever you are in the world. This not only includes incoming and outgoing email, but also any calendar, contact, scheduling changes etc.
